United Way of Marion County understands the importance of ongoing organizational excellence and accountability. The administrative and fundraising costs of operating United Way are approximately 19 percent, meaning that 81 percent of all contributions go to fund health and human services and community solutions. We do not charge partner programs any membership fees in order to receive funding through the annual campaign managed by this organization.
