Since 1993 is United Way's Annual Day of Caring is one of the most exciting ways to make a difference in Marion County. Day of Caring is a way for community members take part in a one-day event designed to partner resources and volunteers with human non-profit social service agencies to provide fix-it help, clean-up help and much more.

This year's Day of Caring is Saturday, February 25, 2012.

Last year hundreds of volunteers fanned out across the county to help organizations improve their facilities. Businesses and agencies who choose to participate will be provided with a kick-off luncheon in January to be matched up with their project.
