United Way of Marion County is offering free personal budgeting workshops to individuals participating in the Bank on Marion program or looking for building financial skills. Workshops are offered from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8 and Saturday, September 25th from 9-11a.m. at the United Way of Marion County located at 1401 NE 2nd St., Ocala.

Workshop topics include "Money Smart" and "Check It Out" including basic introduction to terminology, information on checking accounts, budgeting tools, keeping your money safe, saving money and building good credit.
