United Way of Marion County is committed to advancing the common good by forging strong relations with Partner Agencies. Together, these partnerships are dedicated to improving lives in the areas of strengthen families, nurture children, foster self-sufficiency and meet survival needs and basic skills. Whether the focus is on early Childhood Education & Youth Development, Diversity & Tolerance, Financial Stability, Homeless Services, Domestic Violence or Heath & Basic Needs, our partners are vital lifelines within the communities we work and live.
Over 30 Partner Agencies help to provide health and human care services through our Community Care Fund. Through affordable childcare and job training, struggling families become self-sufficient. Health and human service programs ensure the safety of all individuals by providing aid in times of crisis. Together, our collective goal is to create long-lasting and measurable changes that improve the quality of life for struggling individuals, families and children throughout Marion County.

Rapidly linking individuals with the information or resource that best meets their needs. Formerly First Call For Help, this free information and referral service can link people with questions or problems to organizations, agencies or programs that meet their needs. The service, a United Way funded program, is under the management of the Heart of Florida United Way in Orlando.

Success By 6 is a community-wide initiative of United Way of Marion County, focused on bringing together volunteers and resources from business, government, non-profits, and the community to increase the awareness of the needs of children, ages birth to six, and their families as a top priority. The vision of Success By 6 is to provide unduplicated collaboration of efforts focused on ensuring that all Marion County children birth through age six enter school ready to learn.
