As a Marion County Landlord, your tenants may be eligible for rent and/or utility assistance through the CAP Program. To be eligible to receive assistance, one or more individuals within the household has experienced a reduction of income, incurred significant costs, or experienced other financial hardship due, directly or indirectly, to the COVID-19 outbreak and will be required to submit an application to determine eligibility. Households are eligible to receive assistance for financial obligations incurred after March 2020 and must be at or below 80% of the average median income.
If your tenants are eligible for funding, they will be required to select a registered landlord who will be the direct recipient of the rent payments. We are asking our community landlords to take a few minutes to register themselves. To register click HERE.
Qualifying individuals/families are urged to apply. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis, and are required to be distributed by December 30, 2021.
