I began my career as a case manager for a substance abuse and mental health facility in West Palm Beach, which is where I found my passion for working with at-risk populations. I relocated back to Ocala to work for the Florida Center for the Blind as the Director of Development and Public Relations and also oversaw the case management department. During my time at the Florida Center for the Blind, I secured major state, federal and local grants for expanded programming, including United Way funding. Understanding the process of a Funded Partner agency continuously inspires me in my work at United Way. I currently manage United Way’s public relations and marketing, Youth United Way program, grant writing, and the annual giving campaign. I am the website chair for the FPRA Ocala chapter, LOM class thirty-three participant, and volunteer with the mission team at Blessed Trinity.
