Youth United Way

Youth United Way is a program that provides a forum for local youth to develop leadership skills and demonstrate the importance of youth civic involvement as a key component of community change.

The initiative allows for juniors and seniors in high school to serve as volunteers and leaders. They will be able to elect their own officers, participate in meetings, fundraisers and the United Way allocation process. They will also have the opportunity to serve in a variety of leadership roles as well as participate in a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the community.

Some activities might include, but are not limited to: learning about Marion County, giving feedback on community issues as it relates to teenagers, volunteering, running fundraising campaigns, and connecting with community leaders.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year. You must be either an entering Marion County high school junior or senior in the 2018-2019 school year to apply.
