WE ARE FOCUSED ON IMPROVING THE HEALTH OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS THAT PROMOTE MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL WELL-BEING FOR ALL.

Simply dial, 2-1-1, United Way’s free information and referral helpline which links people in need with assistance from more than 2,000 local health and human service programs.
 

Our Funded Health Partners

Boys & Girls Club of Marion County:  Triple Play Sports Fitness & Recreation
Improves overall health of Club members, ages 6-18, by increasing their daily physical activity, teaching them good nutrition and helping them develop healthy relationships.

Children's Home Society of Florida:  Mid Florida Community Counseling
Provides in-home and in-school behavioral health services to Marion County residents via telehealth.

Creative Services:  Crisis Intervention
Provides 24 hour crisis intervention, safety planning, crisis counseling, and safe shelter for domestic violence victims to prevent further domestic violence and murder/suicide.

Fifth Circuit Public Guardianship Corp:  Marion County Public Guardian Program
Assesses, obtains and oversees the medical and mental health services for indigent, mentally incapacitated senior citizens who have no one to help them and are unable to help themselves and places them in safe homes.

FreeD.O.M Clinic:  Childhood Community Dental Hygiene Education Program
Provides oral screening, fun and engaging oral hygiene instruction on proper brushing and flossing techniques, nutritional counseling and education, and fluoride application.

Heart of Florida Health Center:  Pediatric Dental Program
Provides compassionate, family-centered dental care and oral health education to primarily low-income children in Marion County.

Kimberly's Center for Child Protection:  Therapeutic Counseling & Advocacy
Provides highly specialized services, in an all-in-one, child-friendly environment to minimize trauma after an allegation of child abuse.

Marion Senior Services:  Meals on Wheels
Provides meals, nutrition education and risk screening for Marion County citizens and their spouse, and encourages socialization and better health.

National Association on Mental Illness of Marion County:  Mental Wellness Now: Hope & Help
Provides mental wellness screenings and a link to counseling via telehealth until established with a mental health professional.

Outreach Autism Services Network:  Autism Behavioral Education Program
Provides a core understanding of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and offers case management services until long-term ABA therapy is in place.
