Our programs help children build a strong foundation through quality education. We address the need for additional instructional hours through tutoring, remove barriers to learning by providing necessities and care and confront illiteracy through mentorship and practice.

Thrive Tutoring Program
Providing tutoring services to Marion County Public Schools students in need.
• 800 hours of tutoring
• 7 participating schools - Belleview Santos, College Park, East Marion, Harbour View, Legacy, Stanton-Weirsdale and Wyomina Park Elementary Schools
Community Partnership Schools
Community Partnership Schools serve as neighborhood hubs where schools, families, health providers, nonprofits, and community partners work together to remove barriers to learning and connect students, families, and community members to the resources they need to thrive. By aligning education, health, family, and community supports, the model creates the conditions for improved attendance, stronger academic outcomes, enhanced well-being, and long-term community success.
ReadingPals
ReadingPals is a program powered by United Way of Marion County that builds early literacy through mentorship. ReadingPals volunteers donate one hour twice a week in 18 schools across Marion County selected by the School Board of Marion County Public Schools. We support 200 kindergartners who need foundational literacy support, supplying them with a mentor, books and resource materials.
