United Way of Marion County provides limited, one-time financial assistance for individuals and families facing unexpected hardship.
Eligibility Requirements:

Residency: You must live in Marion County.

Employment Status: You are employed, temporarily unemployed, or receiving a fixed income (such as Social Security).

Documentation: Proof of income loss and financial need is required.
What We May Be Able to Help With:
Unbudgeted or emergency expenses—such as urgent car repairs, sudden loss of income, disaster-related needs, or other unforeseen financial challenges.
Please note: Assistance is not guaranteed and depends on eligibility and available funding. We cannot provide support for prepaid or anticipated expenses.
Each application is reviewed individually, and resources are limited.

All requests must be submitted through the online application form below. Please submit only one application.

Before You Begin
The form cannot be saved once started. Please review the full application and gather required documents ahead of time, including:

Recent pay stubs or proof of income
