My name is Lizmar Marrero, I am from Puerto Rico and moved to Ocala in July 2019 with my husband and 2 daughters. I have always had a passion for helping others and have been in the customer service for 15+ years.

Joining the UWMC Family in Nov 2021 as a Wellness Coordinator for Community Partnership Schools @ College Park Elementary has allowed me to fulfill my passion and help children and their families by giving them a voice translating to our Spanish speaking community or by providing them with the resource they need to give them a head start and overcome any barriers they may have to function within the society.
