Born and raised in Colombia, my Latin roots always give me the passion to help and serve others. Since a little girl, I have been the one caring for and helping my family, friends, and community members. Throughout my career, I have been involved in many community projects, experienced College, and spent time as a War Reporter. Since I moved to the States in 2000, my true calling has been in the field of social work, and thankfully, for the last 20 years, I have had the opportunity to work in organizations that advocate for the less fortunate, foster kids, newborns, and in-risk pregnant women. I am a doula and have many certifications in parenting education and birthing coach. During my time off, you can find me at the lake enjoying time with my precious family.
I am excited to join the United Way Team. As a Success Coach, I am looking forward to helping Marion County families get the necessary tools to become stronger.
