For many, these tools are a great solution for managing the simple tasks of daily life. But when it comes to more critical subjects like housing, health services and childcare where can those in need of help turn? Luckily, the United Way is just a phone call away.

The United Way’s 2-1-1 helplines provides callers with information and referrals to over 2,000 local additional human services. This easy-to-use and confidential program is manned by highly trained, caring, and multilingual operators that to listen, identify the problem and provide resources and access to services designed to improve the caller’s life. Daily these specialists assist with housing needs, family and childcare issues, physical and mental healthcare, employment, tax, veteran, and elder services.
